Vacations and special getaways may involve individuals having to rent a different vehicle.  Some reasons include not enough space in their current vehicle or they want a different vehicle as a part of the trip.  It doesn?t matter why people rent vehicles what will matter is the car gas mileage.  Even if the driver doesn?t keep track of it the rental company will because most contract state that after a certain amount of mileage being used the customer is then responsible to pay per mile.  Many rental companies communicate these types of stipulations but even if they do it is still a good idea for customers to keep an eye on the mileage they use in a rental.

We have almost finished the remodel of the upstairs. One of the last things to get done is the skylight blinds. It’s an easy thing to put off especially since the remodel ended up costing us a bunch more than we expected.

We thought that our friend could get a really good deal on carpet but it turns out that he left the company he could get the good deal from and we ended up paying almost twice as much as we expected. Plus, with so much to be done in the yard before winter we just kinda put off the skylight blinds until now. I can’t believe they are actually ordered and on a truck headed our way. It’s almost been two years now since we started this project and thank goodness it’s almost done.

I’ve been reading reviews of beats 365 and I’ve been trying to figure out if beats 365 is any good and even when I read this review I wasn’t sure if I want to dish out my money without getting a second opinion. Justin made another post about learning to become a sheriff. This is heart breaking to see but the kid is starting to lose hope. That’s really awful to hear because I had high hopes that Justin would really succeed at his police career and at becoming a sheriff. And it’s not all that enlightening to see especially from a guy as young as him.

He’s still keeping the blog going and here’s hoping that over time he’ll get his act together and continue to do his thing. Hopefully becoming a police sheriff is not going to be as hard as it sounds for this kid.

Now that the New York Yankees have tanked for the first time in 13 years all of the Yankee haters are coming out of the wood work.  These same so called haters were fans last year and changes teams as the wind blows.  The problem with the Yankees missing the playoffs is all of my Yankee Rookie Baseball Cards that I have been collecting have gone down in value.  This sucks because I have a lot of money invested in my collection.  Hopefully things will get turned around next year with the resigning of Brian Cashman.  To all those Yankee haters just remember what comes around goes around and make sure you have a rock to hide under next year when we are in first place yet again.

Today I saw the new Rambo movie Sylvester Stallone looks old as hell.  He was great in Rocky but the truth is he need to stop acting and take up painting or something like that.  Holy Crap! The man needs a face lift or something.  The one cool thing in the movie is that he had a cool Rambo Knife !  The knife is something I will be asking for my wife to get me for Christmas.  I am an avid knife collector.  This thing is sweet.  I am not sure how much it costs but I am assuming it will be about $100.00.  I would say if you like the Rambo movies you will love this prop.

Today I received my baseball cards back from a sports grading card company in Florida.  As I opened the package I was anxious to see what the cards were graded.  Baseball Card Grading is like a diamond appraisal where they give you the details about a baseball card to make it easier for you to determine its value.

My father left me his collection when he passed away and I figured now would be a good time to see what they were worth.  Most of the cards were from the late 1930’s and early 1940’s of players like Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. I finally got passed all the bubble wrap when I started to see the good news.    The cards were graded 8’s and 8.5 which are amazing grades for cards that are this old.  Hopefully I can find someone to buy them on ebay.
